Food was so good I started shouting HALLELUJAH!!!!! 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿 Then I started crying...food that good should be illegal.

You absolutely get your money's worth with the food from here, my food was amazing and I have no complaints about anything. will definitely be buying from again.

The food here is so delicious, I usually get collards, lima beans they are yummy. Best fried chicken I’ve ever had, blows the chain places away! I feel like I’m getting a real home-cooked meal made with love.

The portions were generous. The prices reasonable, and the food was EXCELLENT! Of special note were the collard greens. I had eaten all but the last bite or two when I remembered that I had not put any hot sauce on them. I usually ALWAYS add hot sauce to my greens. But they were just that good. Next time I'm in town, I'll certainly stop by again.

They're always really nice, but I wish the food quality was a little more consistant

Had to wait on my daughter at Sanford airport So stopped in at this beautiful small business. Was greated with a smile and how is your day going. I got the Greens, black eyed peas, and fried chic. And comes with cornbread all for under 11 dollars. Dam food was awesome highly recommended. If your in the Sanford area. If I could give 10 stars for service and food I would.

My goodness this is some delicious food! Just my first time there last night for take-out and I’m already craving the pulled pork - rich, fatty and perfectly seasoned. Great sauce. The collard greens had just a little heat to it and the green beans were fresh tasting and plentiful. Thanks so much, Bee, for your hospitality. Yummy!

The Food Is True Soul Food. If You Love The Taste Of Southern Cooking This Is Definitely One Of The Places You Should Stop And Eat At. Great Portions For The Price. The Staff Are Great And Friendly And Also Very Helpful. They Have My Cash Anytime I am Out That Way And Want To Eat. 😢 Forgot To Get The Peach Cobbler. 2nd generation, family owned/run, BBQ & Soul food place. The food was amazing! It really lived up to the reviews I read. We had fried chicken, ribs, brisket and pigs feet. It was all great! I tried the collard greens, orka and tomatoes and mac and cheese. All I can say is the mac and cheese was good, the orka and tomatoes was fabulous and the collard greens are the best I have ever had. They even humored me when I asked if I could get my picture taken with them. They are all very friendly. I enjoyed the food and people. Angel's is now officially added to my list of must stop places when I come to Florida! Thank you Angel's for a FABULOUS experience!

got take out with some co-workers this week, so dam good! Greens better than Mama's, and she's from Alabama. There was so much food I took half home for my husbands dinner so I didn't have to cook. Definitely will be a regular!

Angel's made me feel right at home. Everything my son and I ordered was off the chain. Fried chicken, smoked pork chop smothered in gravy, mac and cheese...and some of the best collard greens I've had in a while! But beware, a "Dinner Plate" will put you in a food coma if you try to eat it all in one sitting. 😁

I eat there often I like how the food taste. Season just right for me. I've never had a bad experience since I've been going there. The desserts are good and nice portions. Staff members are always nice to me always come to my table asking how everything is taste. True good experience. I always get a to go plate after dining in.

Fried Chicken is amazing here. Fresh southern BBQ food, in a casual setting. I think most people just get take out. Friendly staff and generous portions.

The food was amazing. We got smothered pork chops and fried chicken. The flavors were on point. I was a little confused by the concept of buffet because it wasnt the mind where you take your plate up and serve yourself. They make a plate for you and there is no a la cart. The restaurant had what looked like party supplies being stored in a large portion of the dining room. The look of the place made it appear sketchy however once we tasted our food we didnt notice anything else. Thankfully I dont judge a book by its cover and I forced my friends to try it with me because of the reviews and I love soul food. Again the food was so delicious and seasoned perfectly. I would be back if we were closer.

My family picked me up from the Sanford airport and we were looking for somewhere nearby to eat. Angel's soul food was awesome. Although the portions did not appear large none of us left hungry. Maybe I just wished I had leftovers. Nice staff and environment. We were happy all around. Will definitely return when in the area again.

I came inside and saw that the staff had no hair net, no gloves, no mask, and they was in the front talking all over the food while they was Serving someone else.There was no covering over the food and the front door was wide open. Smh i didn't want to catch the caronavirus so i left, couldn't dream of eating somewhere where the employees don't care about there life or there costumers.

Great food. I had BBQ ribs dinner. The ribs and the sides were fantastic. Great service. Large portions. If you are hungry and want your taste buds to be over whelmed with favor this is your place!

Excellent food and service. I have passed this place hundreds of times in the past and it never occurred to me to try this place. They have such great reviews on the internet. We decided to try it. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was awesome and large portions. We had food to take home with us. Their brisket was perfectly cooked. Next time I want to try their meatloaf. The baked chicken was also seasoned perfectly. Highly recommended place to try. We will be back again soon.

OMG great food my son and i met the owner at a restaurant supply auction in sanford he invited us to stop in to look around at his operation we were very impressed, all the employees were so friendly, we decided to get food for take out he would not let us pay for it, awesome. we did leave a nice tip for the workers, we will be going back there to eat and will probably take friends with us, if your in the area you need to stop in i am sure you will like it.

Their melt in your mouth pulled pork is outstanding.

Hands down the best soul food I have ever had. Maybe even the best food. The ribs were the best definitely recommend those and the sweet tea really is better than my mama's. Honestly if I could I would give it 10 stars.

Love the food! The servings are plenty. The prices are good. The turkey wings are a personal favorite. Always order extra corn bread.

If you're looking for a great Soul Food Spot to remind you of home like Mom's used to make then this is it the food was delicious and plentiful I couldn't even eat it all in one sitting had to bring the rest home looking forward to the leftovers

Service was fast and friendly. Safety measures were in place. Outdoor seating was perfect with kids. Loved the food, as always. Smothered pork chops and greens.

I love this place and i love the people the food is amazing. I go there 2-3 times a month. they know exactly what I order once I walk in. i even earned my nickname the double mashpotatoe guy. i highly recommend this place

Delicious food!!!! I mean knock it out of the park flavorful food, go get you some!!! Bonus on the night we went they had a comedy show as well, the show and food was $25 a person and with everything that's going on that's not a bad price to have some laughs.

We was in town for the day and I did a search for some soul food angel soul food came up so I checked out the reviews and it had a lot of good reviews so I decided to try it out and the food was great I had the collards, Mac and cheese with the fry chicken service was quick and fast the people were very nice.

Great tasting food with very reasonable prices. Will go back for seconds while I'm here.

Oh my goodness!!! Had dinner at Angels Soul Food & BBQ tonight with my family! My husband said it’s the best ribs he’s ever eaten! I 100% agree with him! Very generous portions, and great service!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY THEM!!!

The homemade soul food is very good. You can dine in or take out. I love there Sunday buffet. You can pick 2 meats and three side w dessert and corn muffin. For $14 dollars the portions are big.

A friend took me to this restaurant a while back and the food is Excellent. Recently, I visited the restaurant and I observed the cashier scratch their scalp, touch the phone, then place food in a bag. No hand washing, no hair nets, no aprons and no gloves on any staff member visible to the public & handling the food.

I can say this is some of the best "restaurant" soul food I've ever had! Today was my first time trying their food, ordered through delivery service and I definitely was not disappointed. Took one bite of them collard greens and I knew the rest of my food would be great. I will definitely be ordering again!

Watied forever they need structure i liked the women in front were nice some too young to deal with fast pace but learning ill have to try something different but food was smoking hot!!!! So that was good i got bbq wings and fries waited 30 to 40 mins for it will come back to try again

Stayed in Sanford for early morning flight. We read the reviews and decided to try Angel’s. Everything was GREAT! They have a lot to choose from. My husband had the meatloaf, fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy. He said the meatloaf was the best he had ever had. The chicken was really moist with crispy breading. The mashed potatoes were homemade. I had a delicious smothered pork chop, bbq chicken with just the right amount of sweetness. All of the sides were excellent. The staff were friendly and the woman serving us was funny. The owner came to our table and asked how we liked our food. Last year when we in Sanford we ate at a bbq chain. Angel’s beats them hands down!

This place is AWESOME! I definitely recommend trying the fried chicken! Also you will want to buy extra corn bread TRUST ME!!! 😉I orderd food in the last business hour & it was for delivery! I'm live about 15-20mins away and when the food got to me it was still good & hot I was very surprised when that happened in my experience the last business hour at any restaurant means the food will suck 90% of the time anyway! I'm very happy I found this place and I plan to eat here as often as possible! #BUYTHERECORNBREAD
